Barbara WainwrightKeymasterFirst things first. Thank you for your service.
On November 14, we are having a “”Take Over Radio Day”” on Kphred.com Live Streaming Digital Radio Platform. During that time, we want to encourage people listening to contribute to two non-profits that support Veterans and First Responders. Both non-profits were vetted by Shashana Kaplan of Pifster.org.
MyWarriorsPlace.org – Kelly Kowall is the founder and is participating with us. Her organization provides a place for veterans and first responders to heal. Their service animals are welcome to stay with them.
She also composed a song and gave us permission to play it royalty free on November 14
Kelly wrote the song as a tribute to her son who was killed on September 20, 2009, in the Zabul province of Afghanistan.
and
Rebootva.net – Lisa Galloway is the Director of Operations and is also participating. Shane and Cynthia Hicks are the founders. Shane took a blow to the head during hand-to-hand combat training that resulted in two torn retinas, a concussion, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and PTSD. Their organization helps veterans build a business. There are 3 different options for you to participate:
1) Pre-record a audio/video with your story that we could use to promote November 14 and also play on November 14 as part of the program. Use your phone to record and upload your file to: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Xb6Dmyq7gfb8ItAp7N8e1E3Ycsvdqytd?usp=sharing
2) Join me on a zoom call and we will record your story together, interview style and we will play it on November 14. You can book time with me here: https://go.oncehub.com/wainwrightglobal
3) Join us live between 11am Pacific and 2pm Pacific on November 14th to share your story while we live-stream the show.
I would be honored to have you say “”yes””.
Warmly,
Barbara
